As a client receiving mental health services in Texas, you have the right to:

Receive care in a safe, ethical, and confidential environment
Ask questions about your treatment, fees, and policies at any time
Take an active role in decisions about your care
Request copies of your mental health records, as permitted by law
Choose to end therapy at any time

Access to Mental Health Records
How to Request your Records
Clients may request access to their mental health records, within the legal and clinical guidelines set by Texas law.
To request records, you can reach out through our Contact Page or email us at hello@renewedrcc.com to receive a secure link. All requests are reviewed and processed within the timeframe required by law.
Our goal is to make this process clear and accessible, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.

How We’re Licensed and Held Accountable
Confidentiality & Privacy
Your privacy matters deeply to us. All services are provided in accordance with federal and Texas confidentiality laws, including HIPAA and state mental health regulations.
What you share in therapy is confidential, with a few exceptions required by law, such as:
Risk of harm to yourself or others
Abuse or neglect of a child, elderly person, or vulnerable adult
Court orders or other legal requirements
These limits to confidentiality are explained fully in your Informed Consent.

Filing a Complaint
If you have a concern about the services you receive, you have the right to file a complaint with the appropriate regulatory authority.

Office of the Attorney General of Texas – Consumer Protection Division
Filing a complaint will not affect your ability to receive care elsewhere and is your right as a client.

Professional Licensure & Supervision
All services at Renewed Relationships Counseling Collective are provided by licensed mental health professionals, associates, or student interns practicing within the scope of Texas law.
Licensed clinicians provide services independently under their professional licenses.
Associates offer services under the supervision of a licensed supervisor.
Student interns provide services under supervision as part of their accredited training programs.
Supervision details for each provider are outlined in their Informed Consent.
We believe in transparency about who is supporting you and how your care is guided.
Who Provides Your Care
Telehealth Service
When appropriate, telehealth sessions are offered in accordance with Texas law and professional standards. Clients must be physically located in Texas at the time of service unless otherwise permitted by law.
Telehealth policies, risks, and consent details are included in your Informed Consent.
